RCRMC is a 439 bed county hospital serving the Inland Empire in Southern California. RCRMC is a teaching hospital accredited by the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), RCRMC offers training programs for nursing students, medical residents, and allied health professionals attending Riverside Community College, Loma Linda University, Western College of Health Services, and other facilities.
Moreno Valley Medical Plaza will be built directly across from RCRMC (within one block’s walking distance) to accommodate the expanding needs of the community. Five buildings will be built as part of the Moreno Valley Medical Plaza. They are a Skilled Nursing Facility (48,000 sq. ft.), a Mental Health Facility (60,000 sq. ft.), an Assisted Living Facility (30,000 sq. ft.), a Senior Day Care Center (30,000 sq. ft.), and a Medical Office Building (90,000 sq. ft.). The Medical Office Building will house an Outpatient Surgery Center (10,000 sq. ft.), a Radiation Cancer Treatment Center (4,000 sq. ft.), a Dialysis Center (7,500 sq. ft.), a Rehabilitation Facility (10,000 sq. ft.), a Clinical Trial Research Center (1,000 sq. ft.), a Laboratory (1,500 sq. ft.), a Pharmacy (3,000 sq. ft.), an Urgent Care Center (4,000 sq. ft.), Physician’s offices (40,000 sq. ft.) and Common Area (9,000 sq. ft.). The buildings will share a two-story parking facility of 190,000 sq. ft., enough to accommodate 514 cars.
